"Wow. This guy/business was a great find. I needed a bit of help with 2 bikes that required servicing and MOT but I'm constantly away. Quick email to explain what I needed, was followed up with prompt returned call. Pick up sorted, MOTs booked, advice taken. Loads of pictures sent to me of anything to discuss, costs were very clear and great advice/knowledge. The guy has a genuine passion for all bikes, it comes through. How surprised was I! I’ve a Honda CBR929RR which hadn’t been ridden in 4 years and had quite a few issues. It wasn’t rideable and I didn’t want to take it to a regular dealer having had bad experiences with them. Saw Ian’s advert and gave him a call. He came to pick it up within a couple of days, had a good chat with him and I knew he was passionate about bikes. He took it away and called me within a few days and went through everything that needed repairing, and made sure I was happy for him to go ahead with the work. Called me up a week later to arrange dropping it off and it was like being on The Repair Shop program. I’ve never seen my bike look so good; everything repaired and in working order and looking almost brand new. Ian is honest, trustworthy and will do the jobs he says he will..and more, and that’s a rare thing these days. Restorations is the only place I’ll take my bike to now. Should probably get 6 stars really! If you’re not sure, just give him a call, nothing to lose.
